The PM is a tier 1 handgun. Every player starts with the PM when they first join Contract Wars.
The PM is a pistol with high accuracy, low recoil, low damage, very low penetration, a fast fire-rate, very high mobility, a moderately fast reload speed, high damage fall-off, and a low effective distance. The PM has a small magazine size of only 8 rounds and doesn't have much reserve ammunition.
The PM's combination of low damage, very low penetration, high damage fall-off, a low effective distance, and a small magazine size makes it very ineffective at dealing damage. It usually takes more than an entire magazine to kill an opponent unless at least one headshot is achieved.
When enough credits are acquired, it is recommended that the player progresses to the APS, a much more potent side-arm which is credits-purchasable and is located in Set 1. However, if the player does not have access to high-tier side-arms, the very high mobility of the PM can be very useful.
Notably, the PM's firing sound is extremely quiet even without a silencer attached.
The PM has access to a W-Task but doesn't have Weapon Customization.

Achieving 20 HeadShots with the PM will unlock the W-Task. The PM with its W-Task equipped is renamed to the PM SpetsNaz, which has a silencer and laser pointer attachment. However, currently, all new players who join Contract Wars will also receive the W-Task for free. It is not recommended to use to W-Task version of the PM, since it will significantly hinders mobility while providing virtually no tactical advantage.
